Looks like a good deal; however some reviews mentioned that duplex printing is manual (not automatic).

Yep, says so under 'Specifications' as well
Duplex Printing: Manual

Great deal anyway, unless you need to print 2-sided a lot

Make sure you price-shop for replacement toner, too. Printing will cost about 81 cents per page.

From what I can tell looking online, e.g. Amazon, eBay, etc, that's actually one of the positive things about this (and some other) Dell laser printers: it can work using low-cost generic toner cartridges.

For example a set of cartridges currently $46: https://www.amazon.com/INK-E-SALE-Replacement-Cartridge-Magenta/dp/B01N2GI0IJ (actual quality unknown)

Sure it's always a gamble going this route, but I've had good luck with Brother printers using generic ink and toner cartridges
Some printer manufacturers, notably HP, Canon, and Epson make it difficult to have success with anything other than the original OEM cartridges.

Holy Cow! Wouldn't it be cheaper to print at Kinkos?
